To calculate your heart rate metrics, follow these suggestions:
- For resting heart rate, take a recording of your heart rate right after you wake up, before you even get out of bed. This will give you your base heart rate.
- For maximum heart rate, take a recording of your heart rate right after some intense exercise, such as after sprinting. This will give you a relatively accurate maximum heart rate.
