What are the Wake Up Phase settings?

One of the main features of Sleep Time is our smart alarm system. Since waking up directly from a deep or REM phase of sleep usually leaves you feeling groggy and tired, our application tries to wake you up during a period of  light sleep if possible. Over the duration of the wake up phase you choose (0-30 minutes), the alarm will start off softly and grow louder over time to gradually wake you up. This all happens during the window of time before your set alarm, so there is no need to change your alarm for different wake-up phase durations.


Heavy sleepers may want to disable the wake up phase altogether if the growing alarm is not loud enough to wake them in the morning.
